POWELL’S MUSEUM AND CRAFTS SHOP

Owned and operated by Mr. Bernard “Tony” Powell, this museum houses hundreds of family heirlooms, artifacts and memorabilia. The museum includes a domestic and seafaring collection, as well as a detailed collection based on Mr. Powell’s own family tree. Some of the many items on display include antique appliances and tools, antique boat building and repair parts and tools, maritime equipment for navigation, and ribs and wooden beams that have been salvaged from shipwrecks. Powell’s is located on Boggy Sand Road in the community of West Bay.
