The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and Meet Minneapolis have teamed up to launch the first-ever ‘Caymanneapolis Season Swap’ in celebration of increased nonstop flights between Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) and Grand Cayman (GCM) via Delta and Sun Country Airlines this winter.
With service increasing to four times per week this winter, Minnesotans and Caymanians can more easily trade snowsuits for swimsuits this season, in under five hours.
The ‘Caymanneapolis Season Swap’ will give one lucky family (or group) of up to four people from each destination the chance to swap seasons — trading snow-filled festivals and winter fun in Minneapolis for the turquoise waters and endless sunshine of the Cayman Islands, and vice versa.

The contest runs from Oct. 8 to Dec. 20, 2024, and is open to residents of the Cayman Islands and Minnesota, ages 21+ with a valid passport. Winners and up to three guests will be able to travel between January - March 31, 2025. Blackout dates apply.
